Pearl is looking for an Associate AI Conversation Designer to help create engaging conversational experiences that support millions of users worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in Conversational AI, UX Writing, or Conversation Design, with a passion for designing intelligent chatbot experiences powered by LLMs and modern AI technologies.
You'll work alongside experienced conversation designers, product teams, and analysts to improve chatbot interactions, optimize customer journeys, and create AI-powered experiences that are both helpful and engaging.
What You'll Do
- Design and improve conversational flows for AI chatbots across customer support and e-commerce experiences.
- Write natural, user-friendly conversation copy that reflects brand voice and business goals.
- Analyze chatbot conversations and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use LLMs, prompt engineering, and NLP techniques to enhance response quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with global teams to adapt conversational experiences for different markets.
- Partner with analytics teams to measure chatbot performance and user engagement.
- Perform functional and linguistic quality assurance testing.
- Contribute to chatbot launches, optimization projects, and competitive research initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for AI, conversational experiences, and user-centered design.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience with conversational AI, chatbots, internships, academic projects, or research.
- Experience using LLMs, AI tools, or prompt engineering.
- Basic knowledge of Python or scripting languages is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using data to improve user experiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI, UX Writing, Customer Experience, Product Design, or chatbot projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Power BI, Excel, Asana, or Lucidchart.
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
