Shape brands across digital, retail and physical products

TerrAscend is looking for a Brand Designer to create visual work across its portfolio of cannabis brands, spanning everything from digital campaigns and e-commerce to packaging, retail environments and printed materials.

This is a hands-on role for a designer who enjoys moving between brand thinking and production. You'll work alongside the Senior Creative Manager, Creative Director and Project Manager to turn creative direction into polished work across multiple channels.

What you'll be designing

Your projects will vary considerably depending on launches, campaigns and the needs of individual brands.

You'll:

  • Create brand assets for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Design promotional and marketing materials across digital and print.
  • Produce creative for email campaigns and online shopping experiences.
  • Adapt existing visual identities across new formats and touchpoints.
  • Support retail locations with signage, print and other branded materials.
  • Maintain and improve libraries of evergreen promotional assets.
  • Prepare production-ready files that follow established brand guidelines.
  • Work with printers and external vendors on merchandise, packaging and physical materials.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Marketing and other teams throughout production.
  • Manage multiple creative requests while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

What they're looking for

TerrAscend is looking for someone with 3–4 years of professional design experience, either within an in-house creative team or an agency.

You'll need a portfolio showing range and a strong command of the fundamentals — typography, composition, colour, hierarchy and visual communication — alongside the ability to critique and refine your own work.

Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is expected.

Because the work crosses physical and digital environments, you should also understand production best practices across print, digital and consumer packaged goods (CPG).

From screen to physical product

One of the more interesting aspects of this position is the variety of places your work will appear.

You might move from an email or e-commerce asset to packaging, merchandise, signage or materials for a retail location. Experience working directly with printers and production vendors will therefore be particularly useful.

The role also involves structured project workflows and multiple stakeholders, so organization and the ability to manage competing priorities are important alongside visual craft.
