For this opportunity, OpenTrain is looking for contributors with practical Canva and visual-design skills to create examples of how people complete real design tasks.

About the Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring a Canva Design Task Specialist to create, record, and document realistic browser-based design workflows used to help train AI systems.

You'll develop practical design tasks in Canva, complete those tasks while recording your workflow, and document the process so that each example can be clearly understood and reproduced.

Tasks can include creating social media graphics, presentations, flyers, posters, templates, infographics, marketing assets, brand materials, and other visual content.

This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20+ hours per week, with advertised compensation of up to $15 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Create realistic design tasks and scenarios in Canva.
• Produce social graphics, presentations, posters, flyers, infographics, templates, and marketing materials.
• Prepare images, files, brand information, and other assets required for each task.
• Record yourself completing Canva workflows on your computer.
• Document objectives, inputs, constraints, steps, and expected outcomes.
• Work with Canva templates, typography, layouts, images, colors, spacing, and brand assets.
• Demonstrate image editing and content-placement workflows.
• Work with exports, sharing, and collaborative Canva features.
• Explain design decisions clearly in English.
• Review recordings and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure every workflow is realistic and reproducible.

What They're Looking For

You don't need extensive professional experience, but you should have hands-on experience using Canva and be comfortable independently creating visual content.

Requirements include:

• Practical Canva experience.
• Understanding of templates, elements, typography, layers, alignment, color, and spacing.
• Experience creating visual assets such as social posts, presentations, flyers, posters, or infographics.
• Familiarity with brand kits and reusable templates.
• Ability to work with browser-based applications and digital files.
• Comfortable uploading, downloading, sharing, and exporting assets.
• Ability to record complete workflows on your computer.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to document repeatable processes.
• English proficiency of B2 or higher.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
