Help build the programming challenges that train next-generation AI
OpenTrain AI is looking for experienced Competitive Coders to design programming challenges that evaluate and improve advanced AI models.
In this role, you'll create original algorithmic problems, develop reinforcement learning environments, write reference solutions, and build robust validation systems that test how well AI can reason through complex coding tasks.
This opportunity is ideal for developers with a strong competitive programming background who enjoy solving difficult algorithmic problems and designing challenges for others.
What you'll do
You'll help create high-quality datasets and evaluation environments used to train modern AI systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing original competitive programming problems.
- Building reinforcement learning environments for AI evaluation.
- Writing efficient reference solutions.
- Creating comprehensive test cases and validation suites.
- Developing C++ checkers capable of evaluating multiple valid outputs.
- Identifying edge cases and refining problem constraints.
- Collaborating with the project team to improve challenge quality and consistency.
- Documenting technical decisions and validation logic.
