The Role
We’re seeking a Content Designer to join our UX team and create clear, consistent, and user-focused product content. This role blends UX writing, instructional content, and AI-assisted design to deliver experiences that help providers feel confident using our products.
You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, and product leaders across the full design process—from content strategy and prototyping to writing and refining in-product copy. You’ll also contribute to conversational design flows and explore ways to apply AI as a design partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Design content that simplifies complex processes and meets user needs
- Structure and manage content for reuse across multiple platforms, personas, and markets
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliver solutions
- Conduct content prototyping, usability testing, and iteration based on user insights
- Apply agile practices while balancing speed and rigor in research and writing
- Use analytics and feedback to inform content decisions and measure impact
- Leverage AI tools for ideation, prototyping, and refining user-centered content
- Create simple conversational flows for accessible, natural user interactions
What You’ll Bring
- Background in content design, UX writing, technical communication, or journalism
- Experience creating product content and structuring content for different audiences
- Familiarity with user-centered design practices
- Experience with AI-assisted design tools and conversational design basics
- Previous work in agile environments with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable working independently or collaboratively
- Bonus: Experience with Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Figma, Power BI, Smartsheet, or in the healthcare/EHR domain
What We Offer
- Contract role: 15 months, 35–40 hours per week
- Pay range: $45–$60/hour (U.S. base rate)
- Remote-first, with occasional travel to Mississauga or Salt Lake City for onboarding, team events, or annual meetings
