About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Design Intern who’s passionate about creativity and visual storytelling. You’ll work on the internal marketing team, creating assets that power campaigns across digital channels. This isn’t just about “making graphics”—it’s about designing visuals that perform.
This is a part-time internship (~6–7 hours per week, 12 weeks, $20/hour) with the potential to extend.
What You’ll Do

- Create static graphics, motion assets, and video edits to elevate Directive’s brand.
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines while introducing fresh, creative ideas.
- Prepare files for digital platforms, ads, and occasional print projects.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and refine work based on performance insights.
- Research and apply design trends to the B2B marketing space.
- Balance creativity with performance—delivering visuals that are both strategic and compelling.
- Support larger branding initiatives, including rebrands, design systems, and presentation decks.
What We’re Looking For
- Junior, senior, or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- Portfolio showcasing static and motion design (school or self-initiated projects welcome).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere) and Figma.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to take feedback and refine quickly while keeping a sharp eye for detail.
- Curious, experimental mindset—you’re eager to test new formats and push creative boundaries.
- Bonus: Experience with video creation or designing for digital channels (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok).
