What you'll do at Figma:
- Lead and grow a high-performing design team, tackling cross-product challenges.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leads to align on strategy, enhance processes, and ensure successful execution.
- Develop and advocate for a clear vision for how Figma’s products interact and how they can be unified across the product portfolio.
- Foster a culture of excellence by enhancing design practices through critiques, design sprints, and continuous learning.
- Advance and evolve Figma’s design systems to ensure a cohesive and seamless user experience across all products.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years of design management experience.
- Proven experience leading design efforts for a suite of products or managing features across multiple product lines.
- A strong track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams to solve complex design challenges.
- Hands-on expertise with Figma and other design tools, with a strong ability to mentor and guide design teams.
- A focus on growth and development, both for yourself and your team.
It’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience integrating multiple products into a cohesive user experience.
- Experience working on technical products or complex systems (e.g., productivity tools, gaming, word processing).
- Depth in the latest AI developments and modern design tooling.
- Experience with early-stage or zero-to-one projects.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and a sense of humor.
At Figma, we believe in Grow as you go. We hire smart, curious people excited to learn and develop their skills. If you're excited about the role but your experience doesn’t fully align, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the candidate we're looking for.
