OpenTrain AI is looking for English Audio Recording Experts to create high-quality voice recordings that help improve speech recognition and conversational AI systems.
If you have experience with voice recording, narration, podcasting, audio production, or simply enjoy delivering clear, natural spoken English, this is an opportunity to contribute to real-world AI development while working remotely on a flexible schedule.
What you'll do
As part of OpenTrain's AI training projects, you'll produce natural voice recordings that help AI systems better understand spoken language.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recording clear and natural English speech from provided scripts.
- Delivering recordings with consistent pronunciation, tone, and pacing.
- Adjusting your delivery to suit different contexts and speaking styles.
- Reviewing and editing recordings to meet quality standards.
- Organizing and labeling audio files for submission.
- Providing feedback on scripts or recording quality when appropriate.
- Managing multiple recording tasks while meeting project deadlines.
What they're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- Australian residency.
- Strong spoken English with clear pronunciation.
- Experience in voice recording, voice-over, audio production, podcasting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with recording equipment and basic audio editing software.
- Good attention to detail and an ear for audio quality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Professional voice-over or narration experience.
- Background in acting, linguistics, or audio engineering.
- Experience producing multilingual or international audio content.
- Previous work on AI training or speech data collection projects.
