About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Graphic Design Intern to support our Senior Digital Designer and Marketing team. This role offers hands-on experience contributing to real design projects that advance CALSTART’s mission and help build your portfolio.
You’ll gain exposure to branding, asset management, and cross-functional collaboration in a professional, remote design environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the review and updating of brand guidelines for consistency across departments
- Organize and manage design assets in Adobe Creative Cloud Library
- Assist in creating social media graphics, email templates, and internal materials
- Collaborate with senior designers to improve your technical skills and professional workflow
- Contribute to additional design-related tasks as needed
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Detail-oriented with strong task and time management skills
- Clear communicator able to work with various teams and stakeholders
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
- Collaborative, proactive mindset with a solution-focused approach
Compensation
This role pays between $16 and $21 per hour, depending on skills, experience, education, and internal equity. CALSTART values pay transparency and strives to offer fair, equitable compensation.
