Design for fast-moving e-commerce brands

Pomelo is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to work remotely with a US-based digital marketing agency, creating visual assets for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands.

This is a hands-on creative role spanning digital campaigns, advertising, UI/UX, branding, and e-commerce content. You’ll take projects from initial ideas through final execution while ensuring the work remains consistent with each brand’s visual identity.

What you'll be doing

You’ll work across multiple digital formats and collaborate with internal teams to turn marketing and business objectives into effective creative work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating graphics and digital assets for e-commerce campaigns and platforms.
  • Designing advertising creative intended to attract attention and encourage engagement.
  • Supporting UI/UX design projects when required.
  • Producing and adapting visual content for different digital channels.
  • Retouching and editing photography.
  • Taking ownership of projects from initial concept and brand exploration through final delivery.
  • Maintaining visual consistency across campaigns and customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborating with internal teams on concepts that support marketing and commercial objectives.
  • Working across multiple projects while maintaining a high level of creative quality.
  • Supporting occasional operational and special projects when needed.

What they're looking for

Pomelo is specifically seeking a designer with substantial experience working with DTC, Shopify, or e-commerce brands.

You should bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong visual design and creative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma.
  • Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the wider Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience using Canva.
  • Photo editing and retouching capabilities.
  • Experience taking design projects from concept through production.
  • A strong understanding of branding and visual consistency.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively while also owning projects independently.

E-commerce design experience

This role requires more than general graphic design experience.

Pomelo is looking for someone who understands the demands of commercial e-commerce creative — producing polished work quickly while adapting designs across campaigns, formats, and platforms.
