Orbis International is a global nonprofit working to prevent blindness and restore sight for children and adults in communities where eye care is limited or unavailable. Around 1.1 billion people live with vision loss, yet 90% of it is preventable with the right care.

For more than 40 years, Orbis has trained eye care professionals worldwide through in-person programs, partnerships with local hospitals, and our iconic Flying Eye Hospital — a fully equipped teaching hospital on board an aircraft. We also develop innovative tools like Cybersight, our award-winning e-learning and telehealth platform, along with AI screening and VR training technologies.

Orbis ranks in the top 3% of U.S. charities, recognized for transparency and accountability by Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and the Better Business Bureau.

Project Background

Orbis is seeking a preferred design vendor or consultant to serve as a trusted creative partner for a variety of Orbis-branded design projects. Our materials must be highly visual, professional, and aligned with Orbis brand guidelines—conveying a tone that is hopeful, forward-looking, and uplifting.

Designs should reflect Orbis’s mission, adhere to our visual standards, and leverage our extensive library of high-quality photography.

Scope of Work

The selected vendor will provide design services for large and small projects on an ongoing basis, typically with short lead times and fast turnarounds. Collaboration will take place mainly by email, with occasional video calls for larger or more complex projects.

This partnership will last 24 months, with an estimated 20–30 projects per year. Each project’s expected hours will be agreed upon before work begins.
