A leading global entertainment platform, known for delivering fast, engaging coverage of movies, TV shows, games, comics, and more, is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to create standout visual content. This is a contract, work-from-anywhere position, ideal for creatives who love pop culture and can produce polished designs on tight timelines.
What You’ll Do
- Design custom graphics for articles, social media posts, and marketing campaigns
- Build and maintain reusable templates to ensure brand consistency
- Produce infographics, overlays, branded visuals, and media kit layouts
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to meet content goals
- Prepare images for publishing in the CMS, ensuring proper metadata and copyright compliance
- Suggest new visual styles or formats to improve workflow and engagement
- Apply feedback to refine work and deliver top-quality results
Requirements
- Skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent tools)
- Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, and composition
- Experience designing editorial graphics, social media visuals, and marketing assets
- Ability to create scalable templates for efficient production
- Knowledge of entertainment franchises and trends (movies, TV, gaming, etc.)
- Organized, efficient, and attentive to file management standards
- Comfortable sourcing images and following copyright-safe practices
- Portfolio of relevant work required
