Graphic Designer

Likeable is expanding its freelance creative network and is looking for a Graphic Designer with strong visual, social and motion design skills to support upcoming client projects.

This opportunity is suited to a versatile designer who can move from quick creative tasks to larger visual campaigns while keeping every piece consistent with a brand's identity. You'll collaborate with Likeable's creative team to produce engaging work designed for today's major social platforms.

What You’ll Be Working On

You'll help develop creative projects from initial concept through final production, combining graphic design with social-first thinking and motion.

Depending on the project, your work could include:

• Creating visual assets for social media campaigns
• Adapting established brand identities across different formats
• Designing content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and other social platforms
• Retouching and refining existing creative assets
• Developing campaign graphics and branded content
• Adding animation, transitions, typography and movement to existing artwork
• Incorporating music and other elements into motion content
• Collaborating with the wider creative team to turn client objectives into effective visual communication

The challenge is not simply making something look good. You'll need to understand the client's goals and translate them into creative that feels appropriate for both the brand and the platform where it will appear.

What Likeable Is Looking For

Likeable is looking for a designer who combines strong visual judgment with the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving creative environment.

You should bring:

• 2–5 years of graphic design or related professional experience
• A bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent background
• A strong and varied design portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience with After Effects
• Strong typography, composition, color and photography skills
• An understanding of fundamental layout and design principles
• Basic motion design and animation capabilities
• The ability to animate existing artwork using text, transitions and movement
• Strong visual storytelling skills
• Experience translating a brand's visual identity into social content
• An understanding of how creative requirements differ across social platforms
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and openness to creative feedback

Your portfolio should include relevant examples of graphic design, social content and motion design.
