This job is curated by UX Remote Talent from external sources. We are not affiliated with the employer.

We’re looking for a lead freelance graphic designer to support an Amazon-focused marketing agency. This role is ideal for someone who understands the link between design, buyer psychology, and conversion. You’ll partner directly with the founder and help shape the visual standards that influence product sales.

This is a long-term collaboration with a steady, near full-time workload (30–40 hours per week).

About the Role

As the lead designer, you’ll create clear, compelling, high-conversion visuals for Amazon product listings and brand storefronts. You should be comfortable making independent design decisions and combining strong visual principles with marketing strategy—not just producing aesthetic assets.

What You’ll Work On

  • Main product images for search results
  • Full product image galleries (benefits, features, comparisons)
  • A+ Content modules
  • Amazon advertising banners
  • Amazon storefront layouts and subpages

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate briefs from the founder and marketing team into effective visual concepts
  • Research top-performing Amazon listings to identify design patterns and persuasion techniques
  • Apply marketing psychology to create visuals that encourage users to stop, click, and purchase
  • Use AI tools to generate image assets when needed
  • Build and maintain internal design libraries (labels, callouts, reusable elements)
  • Produce clean, minimal, high-quality designs with a focus on conversion
  • Work independently and confidently make layout and visual decisions

How the Collaboration Works

  • You’ll begin by working from detailed briefs and reference materials
  • Over time, you’ll take on more ownership of layouts and creative direction
  • Training materials and swipe files are provided to help guide style and structure

You’re a Strong Match If You:

  • Have 2–4+ years of experience in graphic design (Amazon, eCommerce, DTC, or direct response is a plus)
  • Understand buyer psychology and what drives engagement and sales
  • Can balance clean, minimal aesthetics with clear, conversion-focused messaging
  • Are experienced with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Pro
  • Research industry trends and competitive visuals regularly
  • Work quickly and consistently deliver high-quality assets
  • Have strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
  • Can take direction and produce polished results with minimal revision cycles
  • Can be available during CET business hours

You’re Probably Not a Fit If You:

  • Need step-by-step guidance for every design decision
  • Approach design as purely visual rather than strategic
  • Struggle with deadlines or fast-paced environments
  • Prefer not to work within CET-related hours
  • Aren’t comfortable juggling multiple product types at once

Application Process

Serious candidates will be invited to complete a paid design assignment (approximately 4 hours). You’ll be compensated at the equivalent hourly rate of your proposed monthly retainer.
