JotPsych is on a mission to eliminate time-consuming admin work for mental health professionals so they can focus on providing care. We've already reduced note-taking time by 90%, and we're expanding into scheduling, billing, e-prescriptions, and more.
As Head of Design, you’ll lead product and brand design across the company. You'll shape the user experience and interface of the core product and help maintain visual consistency across marketing and event materials. This is a hands-on role, combining strategic vision with day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design process
- Conduct in-depth user research and usability testing
- Translate complex workflows into intuitive, accessible interfaces
- Build and maintain a design system for consistency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership
- Support brand consistency across marketing and conference materials
- Occasionally design assets for events and conferences
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product design, ideally in SaaS or healthcare
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent UI/UX skills
- Passion for user research, including observational methods
- Experience developing design systems
- High proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
- Strong communicator and collaborative team member
