A fast-growing technology company is looking for a Head of Design and UX to lead experience and design strategy across multiple digital products. These products span complex areas like AI infrastructure, energy optimization, and high-performance computing. This is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape the design vision and user experience across both customer-facing platforms and internal tools.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations to develop user-centered solutions that balance technical depth with clarity and ease of use. From dashboards and control panels to data visualization interfaces, you’ll set high standards for usability, consistency, and design quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the design function across multiple product lines
- Define and manage unified design systems that support scalability and visual coherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences
- Create and implement UX research practices to guide design decisions
- Contribute hands-on to discovery, design, and iteration of key projects
- Ensure accessibility and usability across all surfaces, from web tools to hardware interfaces
- Align design strategy with brand, product goals, and customer needs
- Partner with the executive team on product direction and user experience strategy
What They’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in product design, UX, or related roles
- At least 2 years in a leadership role within technical or infrastructure-focused environments
- Strong background in building and managing scalable design systems
- A portfolio that showcases strong interaction and visual design, as well as problem-solving
- Ability to lead with empathy, particularly with highly technical or operational user groups
- Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
