MARA is looking for a Head of Design and UX to take ownership of the design strategy across a growing suite of products. These include tools related to AI infrastructure, energy orchestration, and compute efficiency. This is a key leadership position where you’ll help define and elevate the user experience across both internal and customer-facing platforms.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across product, engineering, and operations to deliver thoughtful, consistent, and effective design solutions. You’ll be instrumental in shaping unified design systems, research processes, and prototyping workflows that support fast-paced product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the design and UX function across MARA’s products.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to design intuitive experiences for complex technical workflows.
- Develop scalable design systems that serve interfaces such as web apps, dashboards, internal tools, and hardware-related platforms.
- Establish UX research practices to guide product decisions with confidence.
- Contribute hands-on to key design projects while growing and mentoring the team.
- Ensure consistent usability, accessibility, and brand alignment across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with leadership on product strategy, user needs, and market positioning.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design.
- At least 2 years in a design leadership role, ideally within enterprise, infrastructure, or technical product settings.
- Proven ability to create and scale design systems across multiple platforms.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills in UX, visual design, and solving complex user problems.
- Empathy for a variety of users, including ML engineers, energy operators, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.
