Bungie is hiring an Interaction Designer to help craft exceptional user experiences within Marathon, our upcoming game. In this role, you’ll apply player-centered design methods to create interactions that are both usable and visually engaging. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams from concept to execution, playing a key role in delivering high-quality UX across the product.
What You’ll Do
- Translate goals, requirements, and UX strategies into user-centered interaction designs
- Develop user flows, interaction prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to validate and communicate design ideas
- Define and document guidelines, systems, and reusable design patterns
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to deliver shippable assets and implement feedback iteratively
What We’re Looking For
- Experience designing UI and UX for digital products, with a strong portfolio to show it
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to drive design decisions within a team setting
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual design fundamentals
- Deep commitment to player-first design and incorporating user research into design processes
- Ability to think in systems and scale experiences over time
- Experience working with cross-functional product teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Experience designing for games across multiple platforms
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with UI design systems
Location & Compensation
This role is remote, but candidates must reside in or relocate to a Bungie-approved U.S. state within 45 days of the start date.
Pay ranges (based on experience and level):
- $98,000 – $121,000 USD
- $126,000 – $150,000 USD
