Lead Product Designer

Goody is a gifting platform used by companies like Google, Stripe, Meta, and Notion to make sending gifts easy and delightful. Users don’t need to enter an address, and recipients can swap gifts if they prefer something else. Our product is used by 64% of the Fortune 100 and integrates with other apps via API.

As Lead Product Designer, you’ll join a design-centric team where your work will directly shape the user experience. You’ll partner closely with our co-founder (also Head of Product) to design high-impact features across both the gifting experience and the sender dashboard.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor (IC) role with lots of ownership and room for creativity.

What You’ll Do

• Design intuitive, delightful experiences for Goody’s responsive web app
• Craft flows for both the sender (ecommerce/SaaS) and recipient gift experience
• Collaborate with product leadership to shape product strategy and direction
• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Evolve Goody’s design system as the product scales
• Explore meaningful use of AI/ML to improve the user experience
• Help shape emotional aspects of the product, like animations for the gift-unwrapping experience

Who You Are

• 5+ years of product design experience for web and mobile
• A strong visual eye and a fresh, high-quality portfolio
• Comfortable iterating quickly and exploring multiple design directions
• Growth mindset and open to constructive feedback
• Experience with ecommerce is a plus
• Based in the US or Canada preferred
