About the Role
Minted is seeking a Lead UX Designer to shape next-generation experiences powered by generative AI. You’ll play a key role in defining how customers and artists engage creatively on the Minted platform. This is a strategic and hands-on role collaborating across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Brand teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead UX for AI-powered design tools and experiences
- Explore new ways to enable artistic self-expression through generative AI
- Champion user-centered design across web and mobile
- Mentor junior designers with curiosity-driven approaches
- Advocate for product features grounded in research and customer needs
- Collaborate closely within a lean/agile development team
- Communicate ideas and designs clearly to stakeholders
You Bring
- Solid experience in UX design (especially mobile-first and responsive)
- Understanding of generative AI (especially image-based tools)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail
- Passion for great design and user empowerment
- Background in e-commerce or marketplaces is a plus
Compensation
Salary depends on location and experience:
- SF Bay Area: $73.60 – $96.60/hr
- Other major metros (e.g., NY, DC): $67.71 – $88.87/hr
- Select states (e.g., TX, IL, WA): $62.56 – $82.11/hr
- All other U.S. states: $57.41 – $75.34/hr
