Figma is looking for a Motion Designer to join its Product Education team. In this role, you'll create engaging educational content that helps designers and developers learn how to get the most out of Figma's platform.
Working closely with education, product, engineering, and marketing teams, you'll produce high-quality videos, motion graphics, and visual explainers that make complex design concepts easy to understand.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative storyteller with experience in motion design, video production, and educational content for SaaS products.
What You'll Do
- Produce educational videos from concept to final publication.
- Create motion graphics, animations, and visual explainers for Figma's learning content.
- Write scripts, record voiceovers, edit videos, and publish content to YouTube.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Community teams to explain new features.
- Transform complex product concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences.
- Analyze content performance and help improve future educational resources.
- Support the launch of new product features through compelling visual storytelling.
What We're Looking For
- Experience creating motion graphics and educational video content.
- Strong video production, animation, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to explain complex software features in a simple and engaging way.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for design education and helping others learn.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience producing content for SaaS or design tools is highly desirable.
