A|L Media is an award-winning political media agency that partners with candidates and advocacy campaigns across the United States. We’re seeking a Motion Graphic Designer to join our creative production team on a contract basis.

Role Overview

As a Motion Graphic Designer at A|L Media, you’ll collaborate with the creative and production teams to transform ideas into compelling visual stories. You’ll produce high-quality motion graphics for TV, digital, print, and presentation projects, bringing creativity and innovation to every assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute creative ideas and visual inspiration during concept development.
  • Design and refine motion and graphic elements for TV, digital, print, and presentation materials.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with production and account teams.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in animation, typography, color, composition, and layout.
  • Maintain organized workflows and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in motion design (not an entry-level position).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with AE plugins and other motion design tools.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • Availability to work occasional nights or weekends.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with video editing.
  • Storyboarding skills.
