About the Role
We're looking for a Principal UX Designer to lead strategic design initiatives across the elluminate platform. This is a high-impact role focused on complex data workflows, usability, and system-wide design excellence. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts while mentoring other designers and scaling our design system.
What You’ll Do
- Lead UX across product areas—from discovery to high-fidelity design
- Drive design system evolution and cohesive UI/UX patterns
- Create intuitive workflows for complex data and clinical insights
- Develop detailed design specs and interactive prototypes (Figma)
- Participate in user research, testing, and evidence-based design decisions
- Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure accurate implementation
- Mentor designers and promote design culture across teams
You Should Have
- 7–10+ years in UX, ideally in enterprise or data-rich platforms
- Expertise in Figma, design systems, and complex UI design
- Strong portfolio showing UX strategy, interaction design, and research integration
- Experience collaborating across disciplines and presenting to stakeholders
- Background in healthcare or life sciences is a plus
Bonus Skills
- Experience with mobile/responsive design
- HTML/CSS/JS understanding
- Agile workflow familiarity
- Mentorship or team leadership experience
