Product Design Team Lead

Swissblock is seeking a Product Design Team Lead to shape how our crypto analytics and macro-financial platforms look, feel, and perform. This is a unique opportunity to guide design vision across complex, data-driven products while mentoring a growing design team.

What you’ll do

• Define and drive the design strategy for Swissblock’s platforms.
• Lead end-to-end design processes, from research and prototyping to usability-focused delivery.
• Mentor, manage, and inspire the design team, fostering growth and creative excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to align on UX, workflows, and feature priorities.
• Elevate Swissblock’s brand through consistent, polished, and compelling design.
• Apply data visualization best practices to make complex financial and crypto insights intuitive and engaging.
• Lead user research and usability testing, ensuring design decisions are data-backed and user-centered.

Who you are

• Experienced product designer with a strong portfolio; expertise in data visualization or complex interfaces is a plus.
• Background in fintech or crypto is helpful but not required—ability to learn and adapt quickly is key.
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other UI/UX and prototyping tools.
• Motion design or animation skills (After Effects, Blender, etc.) are a strong advantage.
• Excellent communicator, able to collaborate across disciplines and clearly articulate design strategy.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable driving projects forward in dynamic environments.
• Proven track record of raising product design quality while mentoring and supporting team members.
• Strong problem-solving mindset grounded in research, empathy, and iterative testing.
