Product Designer - Collaboration Tools

Figma is looking for a Product Designer with strategic vision and strong execution skills to help shape the future of FigJam, Slides, and other exciting new tools. This is a key role that will redefine Figma’s product suite, expand core audiences, and contribute to the company’s growth.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to product strategy and key design decisions.
• Design, prototype, and ship high-quality product improvements.
• Turn complex user problems into simple, elegant solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, design, and research teams.
• Clearly communicate user needs and product opportunities.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products (UX/UI).
• Strong eye for detail in visual and interaction design.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from start to finish.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows for users.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience leading 0-to-1 projects.
• Creative problem solver with a generative mindset.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this role in San Francisco or New York is $164,000 to $294,000 USD annually. For remote employees, compensation is localized to between 80% and 100% of this range based on location. Final salary depends on experience, location, and role scope.
