Stripe is looking for a Product Designer to help shape and evolve the Stripe Dashboard — one of the core experiences businesses use to manage their products, payments and operations.

You'll work on complex product challenges that span different parts of the Stripe ecosystem, turning competing user needs, business requirements and technical constraints into clear, polished and scalable product experiences.

What you'll be designing

As part of Stripe's Dashboard team, you'll contribute to both the strategic direction and execution of core product experiences.

Your work will include:

  • Designing and prototyping new experiences across the Stripe Dashboard.
  • Developing a deep understanding of Stripe's users, product ecosystem and existing interface.
  • Creating high-quality, user-centered designs across important product surfaces.
  • Exploring concepts and prototypes before moving toward production-ready solutions.
  • Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, User Researchers and Content Designers.
  • Helping shape product direction rather than simply executing predefined requirements.
  • Collaborating across different Stripe product areas to create a coherent Dashboard experience.
  • Presenting work regularly in design reviews and using feedback to refine your thinking.
  • Balancing user needs, business priorities and multiple stakeholder perspectives.

What Stripe is looking for

You should have:

  • 4+ years of relevant product design experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent product and UI design craft.
  • Experience creating polished, production-quality interfaces.
  • A track record of partnering closely with Product, Engineering and other cross-functional teams.
  • Experience contributing to product direction and strategic decisions.
  • The ability to work horizontally across different product areas.
  • Confidence collaborating with both peers and company leadership.
  • The ability to navigate competing priorities, perspectives, user needs and business requirements to arrive at strong design solutions.

Experience that would stand out

Previous experience designing B2B or fintech products is particularly relevant, although Stripe lists this as a preferred rather than mandatory qualification.

Experience simplifying complex, information-rich products and building interfaces that need to scale across multiple workflows would also translate particularly well to the Dashboard team.

Why this role stands out

Stripe's Dashboard has to work for businesses with very different structures, workflows and combinations of financial products.

That creates an interesting design challenge: making a powerful and increasingly complex platform feel intuitive and relevant to each business using it.

You'll have the opportunity to influence those core experiences while collaborating with teams across Stripe and contributing to products used by businesses around the world.

Strengthen your product design craft

Stripe is looking for a designer with strong UI craft who can transform complex product requirements into polished, scalable experiences.

Designlab's Advanced Design Craft course is built for experienced designers who want to sharpen their visual judgment, strengthen their UI craft and create more polished product interfaces.
