The Role
Figma is hiring a Product Designer to shape the future of extensibility — plugins, widgets, APIs, and developer experiences built directly into the Figma editor. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and the developer community to design elegant tools that expand Figma’s capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Design and ship high-quality extensibility tools and features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Prototype and iterate on complex workflows
- Shape product strategy and user experience
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years in UX/UI design, ideally with developer tools
- Strong visual and interaction design skills
- Experience simplifying complex systems
- Confident working across multiple teams and products
- Bonus: APIs, OAuth, Figma plugin development, or dev community familiarity
