Figma is on a mission to make design accessible to everyone. We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Interactivity team, where you’ll help shape the future of prototyping and interaction design.
In this role, you’ll design new capabilities that empower teams to create expressive, functional prototypes—building on recent launches like Figma Make and Figma Sites. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and design peers to create high-quality features, simplify complex challenges, and mentor fellow designers.
What You’ll Do
- Drive product strategy and design decisions with a focus on interactivity and prototyping.
- Translate customer needs and business goals into clear, user-centered design solutions.
- Create user flows, prototypes, and polished visuals for new features.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to ship high-quality improvements.
- Mentor peers and share design feedback in a collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years as a Product Designer, including 3+ years working on complex software products.
- Strong interaction design and prototyping skills (Figma Prototyping, Origami, or similar).
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to typography, layout, and detail.
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain design rationale clearly.
- Experience in user-centered design and product strategy.
- Proficiency with Figma and other design tools.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with advanced Figma features (Auto Layout, Variables, Components).
- A design/development hybrid background or experience building apps/sites.
- Work history with AI, motion/animation products, or creative tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary (SF/NY hub): $164,000 – $294,000 USD
