Hudl is looking for a Product Designer to help create the shared experiences and design foundations connecting its growing ecosystem of sports technology products.
Rather than owning a single isolated feature, you'll tackle broader product challenges spanning workflows, information architecture, video, data and emerging AI experiences. The goal is to make Hudl's platform feel coherent as different products, teams and technologies come together.
You'll join Core UX, the group responsible for many of the patterns and systems that allow Hudl's product teams to design consistently and at scale.
What you'll work on
This role involves solving product problems that often extend beyond a single screen or feature.
You'll:
- Design experiences that connect different products, features and workflows
- Simplify complex information and technical requirements
- Explore how video and data can work together more intuitively
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and other designers
- Use customer research and product data to guide design decisions
- Prototype, test and iterate before moving solutions into production
- Own scoped projects from early exploration through implementation
- Evaluate how successfully shipped solutions perform
Systems thinking is particularly important. Hudl wants designers who consider how an individual decision affects the wider product ecosystem rather than optimizing one interface in isolation.
What Hudl is looking for
You'll need strong interaction and visual design skills, with the ability to move comfortably between early exploration, prototypes and production-ready solutions.
Hudl is particularly interested in designers who can demonstrate:
- Strong end-to-end product design craft
- Systems thinking and confidence working through ambiguity
- Clear communication with Product, Engineering and Design partners
- Experience incorporating customer research and product data into decisions
- Ability to simplify complicated workflows
- A portfolio showing your process, reasoning and iteration—not just final screens
Experience with data-rich or technically complex products, design systems, information architecture, analytics or video-based experiences would be particularly relevant.
AI fluency is a core requirement
Unlike many Product Designer roles where AI experience is simply a bonus, Hudl specifically lists AI fluency among its must-haves.
They're looking for someone already experimenting with AI in their design workflow and interested in how emerging interaction patterns can improve products. Previous experience designing conversational, agentic or other AI-powered experiences is an additional advantage.

Additional relevant experience includes:
- Designing within larger product ecosystems
- Complex analytics or data visualization workflows
- Video-centric products
- Design systems and reusable interaction patterns
- Information architecture
- Conversational or agentic interfaces
- Emerging AI interaction models
