Outreach is looking for a highly experienced Product Designer to shape sophisticated AI-powered experiences for its sales execution platform.

You'll work within the Guide Conversational Intelligence product area, tackling complex workflows where conversational AI, automation and human decision-making come together. This is a senior design opportunity with significant ownership over product direction, interaction models and the evolution of AI-native experiences.

What You'll Be Designing

You'll help define how sales teams interact with Outreach's AI-powered products, taking complex workflows and turning them into clear, intuitive experiences.

Your work will include:

  • Designing end-to-end experiences for Outreach's Conversational Intelligence product.
  • Exploring new interaction models for AI-powered features and workflows.
  • Turning complex system architecture into understandable user journeys.
  • Developing concepts, user flows, prototypes and polished interfaces.
  • Helping shape product vision and roadmap alongside Product Management.
  • Conducting customer interviews and using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions.
  • Running usability studies and iterating based on findings.
  • Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing.
  • Contributing to and extending Outreach's design system.
  • Exploring AI-enabled tools and processes that can improve how the design team works.

Designing for AI-Native Products

AI isn't simply an additional feature in this role.

Outreach is looking for a designer comfortable exploring emerging interaction patterns across areas such as:

  • Conversational AI assistants.
  • Agentic automation workflows.
  • Human-in-the-loop experiences.
  • Prompt creation and interaction patterns.
  • AI observability and transparency.
  • New AI-powered productivity workflows.

You should also be comfortable experimenting with AI tools to accelerate design and prototyping, while exploring multiple potential solutions quickly.

What Outreach Is Looking For

This is a highly experienced position. Outreach is looking for someone with 10+ years in Product Design, UX or Interaction Design, ideally including at least one year operating at Staff or Lead level.

A strong candidate will bring:

  • A portfolio showing sophisticated product and interaction design work.
  • Experience shaping product vision rather than simply executing predefined requirements.
  • Strong experience designing complex software workflows.
  • An understanding of emerging UX patterns for AI-powered products.
  • Experience taking major features or zero-to-one products from ambiguity toward a finished experience.
  • Strong visual and interaction design craft.
  • Rapid prototyping skills, including experimentation with AI design tools.
  • Experience conducting or contributing to user research.
  • Strong systems thinking and design-system experience.
  • Confidence presenting design strategy and rationale to senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to operate independently while collaborating across Product and Engineering.

Experience designing AI-powered workflow or productivity software would be particularly valuable.

What to Include With Your Application

Candidates should provide:

  • An online portfolio, including a password where required.
  • CV and/or LinkedIn profile.
  • A short explanation of why Outreach and the opportunity are a good fit.

Compensation

The stated annual OTE range is:

$150,000–$200,000

Depending on the individual offer, compensation may also include incentives, bonuses, restricted stock units and additional benefits.

Benefits

Outreach highlights benefits including:

  • Flexible time off.
  • 401(k).
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage.
  • Parental leave support.
  • Fertility and assisted reproductive services benefits.
  • Employee referral bonuses.
  • Employee communities and inclusion programs.
  • Office events, food and refreshments where applicable.

This role doesn't just mention AI — Outreach is looking for designers who can think through conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, human-in-the-loop experiences and new AI interaction patterns.
