Render is looking for an experienced Product Designer to help shape the future of its cloud platform for developers. You'll design intuitive experiences for complex infrastructure products, making it easier for engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and manage modern applications.
Working alongside Product Managers and Engineers, you'll simplify highly technical workflows into elegant, user-centered interfaces that developers rely on every day.
This role is ideal for designers who enjoy solving complex UX challenges, working with data-rich interfaces, and building products that scale.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end experiences for developer tools and cloud infrastructure products.
- Create intuitive interfaces for deployment, monitoring, system health, and service management.
- Simplify complex workflows involving multiple services and environments.
- Design dashboards, observability tools, and high-density information interfaces.
- Improve onboarding and first-use experiences for new customers.
- Design helpful error states, recovery flows, and troubleshooting experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and fellow Designers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to design strategy, product discovery, and the evolution of the design system.
- Mentor designers and help maintain a high standard of design quality across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of Product Design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex SaaS, developer tools, or enterprise products.
- Expertise in UX, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Experience designing data-heavy dashboards or technical interfaces.
- Strong understanding of design systems and scalable product design.
- Ability to simplify highly technical concepts into intuitive user experiences.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Curiosity about developer workflows, cloud platforms, and modern software infrastructure.
Nice to Have
- Experience with developer tools, DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring or observability products.
- Prototyping, motion design, or front-end development knowledge.
- Personal side projects, technical writing, or public speaking within the design community.
