Product Designer

Xplor Technologies is looking for a Product Designer to help create intuitive digital experiences for its Golf & Club software products, working within the Cubessential brand.

This position combines traditional UX and product design expertise with a modern, AI-assisted approach to building software. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and QA specialists to understand customer challenges, explore solutions, and deliver polished experiences across multiple products.

AI is integrated into the team's development process, from research and early exploration to prototyping and implementation. Rather than simply generating more designs, the goal is to help designers spend more time understanding users, making thoughtful decisions and improving product quality.

You'll also play an important role in evolving the company's design system and establishing reusable AI-assisted workflows.

What You'll Be Working On

Turning Customer Insights Into Better Products

You'll investigate how customers use Xplor's software and identify opportunities to simplify their everyday tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting and interpreting user research alongside product and business data.

• Translating customer needs into clear design requirements.

• Using AI tools to organize research findings, identify patterns and accelerate exploration while verifying their accuracy.

• Creating user flows, wireframes, interfaces and interactive prototypes.

• Testing ideas with stakeholders and customers before moving into development.

Designing With AI-Assisted Workflows

Xplor is adopting AI throughout its product development process, and you'll help shape how design fits into that environment.

You'll use generative AI to explore alternative approaches, develop prototypes and identify interaction states that might otherwise be overlooked.

You'll also collaborate directly with engineering teams, reviewing implementations for visual accuracy, accessibility and consistency with the intended experience.

Strong design judgment remains essential. You'll be expected to evaluate AI-generated work critically rather than accepting it at face value.

Building and Maintaining Design Systems

A major part of this role involves keeping design consistent across Xplor's portfolio of Golf & Club products.

You'll help:

• Maintain shared components, design tokens and interface guidelines.

• Improve the organization and usability of design libraries.

• Document patterns and decisions for designers, developers and AI-assisted tools.

• Create reusable prompts, templates and workflows that accelerate prototyping.

• Help colleagues adopt AI tools without compromising design quality.

Creating Trustworthy AI-Powered Experiences

Beyond using AI in your own workflow, you'll contribute to the design of products that incorporate AI-powered functionality.

This includes designing experiences that communicate what AI can do, make limitations understandable, handle unexpected outcomes and allow users to remain in control.

You'll consider usability, transparency, accessibility and responsible data handling when designing these interactions.

What Xplor Is Looking For

Xplor is seeking an experienced designer who can combine strong UX fundamentals with curiosity about emerging technologies.

Essential qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional design experience, including UX/UI design.

• A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design decisions and an understanding of business and user needs.

• Experience across the complete design process, from discovery and research through prototyping, testing and delivery.

• Strong skills in interaction design, visual design and usability.

• Proficiency with Figma or comparable collaborative design software.

• Practical experience using generative AI for research, ideation, content creation or prototyping.

• Ability to write effective prompts and critically assess AI-generated results.

• Understanding of the opportunities and limitations of AI-powered product experiences.

• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently when necessary.

• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Additional Experience That Would Be Valuable

You may be particularly well suited to the role if you have worked with:

• Design systems shared across multiple products.

• B2B platforms, vertical SaaS applications or payment technology.

• Accessibility guidelines, including WCAG.

• AI-assisted development or code-based prototyping tools.
