Lightcast is looking for a Product Designer II to join our central UX team. In this role, you’ll collaborate across multiple product lines, contribute to our enterprise design system, and mentor other designers. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, researchers, and analysts to deliver high-quality, user-centered digital experiences.
This role offers a balance of individual ownership and collaborative work within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, and brand teams to identify user and business opportunities based on research and data.
- Translate insights into design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Design responsive and accessible interfaces across multiple devices and platforms.
- Partner with developers to ensure the feasibility and accurate implementation of your designs.
- Lead or support user research efforts (moderated and unmoderated) to validate design decisions and iterate quickly.
- Contribute to and maintain our design system and shared component libraries for consistency and scalability.
- Present your work and design rationale clearly to teammates and stakeholders.
- Advocate for continuous improvement of the user experience based on feedback and performance data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 to 5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a similar role within a digital product team.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UX, polished UI design, and contributions to design systems.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
