Join Xapo’s remote team as a Product Designer, where you’ll help build a mobile experience that’s already trusted by users across the globe. The Xapo app allows people to spend, protect, and grow their BTC and USD—with a focus on simplicity, trust, and delight.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how members transact, from deposits and transfers to seamless payments using the Xapo card. Whether they’re toggling between USD and BTC or sending crypto, fiat, or stablecoins, your work will ensure every interaction feels effortless.
This role is ideal for designers who love crafting clean, intuitive native app interfaces—and who enjoy collaborating closely with engineers and PMs to deliver high-impact features.
What You’ll Do
- Design clear, consistent user experiences for mobile—from concept to final handoff
- Create flows, interactions, and layouts for transaction-related features (and beyond)
- Turn research insights into solutions that are both intuitive and technically feasible
- Build and test functional prototypes to validate your ideas early
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers in agile sprints
- Identify opportunities to improve existing features based on user needs and data
- Contribute to the Design System and ensure visual and functional consistency

- Actively shape and evolve the mobile design language at Xapo
- Participate in cross-functional discovery, roadmapping, and feedback loops
- Help prioritize the design roadmap alongside product leaders
- Support implementation to ensure what you design is what users get
What You’ll Need
- Strong experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)
- A portfolio that showcases thoughtful, user-friendly design solutions
- Solid understanding of mobile interaction patterns and platform guidelines
- Experience designing for both end users and internal support tools
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into user-friendly MVPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced environments
- Experience applying UX research and data to guide product decisions
Nice to Have
- Experience contributing to and evolving a shared Design System
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback with cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of implementation constraints and developer handoff best practices
