What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver intuitive, accessible experiences across desktop and mobile platforms
- Lead end-to-end design efforts—from discovery to delivery—on key product initiatives
- Use research, data, and feedback to drive user-centered decisions
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life
- Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals using Figma
- Conduct and synthesize user research to inform designs and test usability
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility guidelines (WCAG, ADA compliance)
- Advocate for design best practices and participate in a culture of feedback and iteration
- Leverage AI tools to improve design efficiency and ideation
- Contribute to team culture through mentorship and collaboration
What We’re Looking For
- Experience designing complex web or SaaS applications
- A portfolio showcasing product design, interaction design, and responsive UI work
- Strong skills in Figma and other design/prototyping tools
- Solid foundation in visual design, typography, layout, and hierarchy
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and how to apply them in design
- Experience conducting and applying insights from user research
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in agile teams
- Clear, effective communication—written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in remote work and adapt to evolving priorities
- Familiarity with nonprofit tech or mission-driven organizations is a plus
- Experience using analytics tools (e.g. Pendo) or user testing platforms (Maze, Helio, etc.) is a bonus
