Trading Product Designer (Web)

BitMEX is seeking a Product Designer to shape the user experience of its trading platform. Since 2014, BitMEX has provided cryptocurrency derivatives traders with professional-grade tools, and today the platform supports 100+ derivatives contracts, 16 spot pairs, and 30+ cryptocurrencies.

In this role, you’ll focus on elevating the web trading experience. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and commercial teams to design new features and refine existing ones. As BitMEX expands its product offerings, your role will grow with it.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements and user flows into clear, user-friendly interfaces.
• Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and detailed UI specifications.
• Ensure seamless experiences across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Design intuitive interactions that enhance usability and fluidity.
• Stay current with UI/UX trends and advocate for their use in the platform.
• Work with Product and Engineering to iterate based on feedback and performance data.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.

About You

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally in trading, fintech, or financial products.
• Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Strong background in web product design across multiple technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong visual design ability (typography, color, layout).
• Knowledge of derivatives trading is a plus.
