The Role
A great user experience is at the core of everything we build. We’re looking for a Product Designer who is curious, creative, and passionate about solving real user problems.
You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to improve our core dashboard, where users manage bookkeeping, taxes, and financial workflows. Your mission is to make complex processes feel simple, clear, and delightful.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to continuously improve the product.
- Take features from concept to prototype, user testing, and launch.
- Design clean, intuitive interfaces that simplify complex workflows.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to create seamless user flows.
- Maintain and evolve the Design System for speed and consistency.
- Own key product areas and report directly to the Head of Design.
- Balance speed and quality to deliver high-impact work.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
- Strong UX thinking, visual design skills, and clear written communication.
- A user-first mindset, designing with empathy and clarity.
- Proactive, collaborative problem-solver who takes initiative.
- Proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, design systems).
- Genuine interest in doola’s mission.
Bonus
- Experience working in startups or small, fast-moving teams.
- Understanding of front-end development (you don’t need to code, but awareness helps design feasible solutions).
