About the role
We’re hiring a Product Designer to help deliver an exceptional experience across the Xapo app — a product that allows our members to spend, save, and grow their USD and BTC easily and transparently.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to create thoughtful, user-focused solutions. From research and concept development to prototyping and implementation, you’ll play a key role in defining a cohesive and intuitive experience for our members.
A major area of focus will be Transactions — ensuring that sending, receiving, and spending money feels simple, secure, and modern. For instance, members can switch between spending in BTC or USD with a single card, or transfer fiat, crypto, or stablecoins smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, interfaces, and interactions for new and existing features.
- Partner with Product to understand user needs, motivations, and pain points.
- Use insights, data, and business requirements to guide design decisions.
- Communicate design concepts clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Build prototypes to test and validate ideas.
- Identify opportunities to improve the product experience.
- Create scalable components and contribute to the Xapo Design System.
- Collaborate with Engineers to ensure accurate design implementation.
- Give and receive feedback in design reviews.
- Help maintain and evolve the team’s design standards and practices.
Skills and experience
- Strong background designing native mobile applications.
- Understanding of platform guidelines and mobile design patterns.
- Experience designing for both end users and internal service teams.
- Comfortable working in an agile, sprint-based environment.
- Ability to translate product ideas into clear, user-friendly designs.
- Skilled at using research and data to refine design solutions.

Device policy
All Xapo team members must follow the Xapo Device Policy, which governs the use of company-approved laptops. Devices must meet security standards, enroll in mobile device management (MDM), and follow compliance rules. This ensures data protection and regulatory compliance for all.
