What They’re Looking For
Vetcove is searching for a Product Designer with strong front-end implementation skills and a passion for high-quality interface design. They’re looking for someone who brings exceptional attention to detail, enjoys working in React, and stays up to date with modern UI patterns and interaction trends. A love for animals is welcomed but not required.
You should be comfortable working remotely within the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with product designers to bring new features to life
- Translate Figma designs into reusable, modular React components
- Build polished interactions with clean, efficient CSS
- Prototype animations and micro-interactions directly in code
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure UI accuracy and alignment with product logic
What You Should Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum of 3 years working professionally in frontend/software engineering with real-world React experience
- Strong ability to turn high-fidelity designs into production-ready UI
- Deep CSS knowledge, including animations, transitions, responsive layout, and scalable styling
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript concepts and React architecture
- Awareness of accessibility best practices (semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA, contrast, etc.)
- Portfolio or code samples demonstrating polished UI work in React
Experience working with design systems or contributing to component libraries is a plus.

Salary ranges vary by location. Colorado range: $120,000–$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
