Figma is looking for a Product Designer to join its Content Management Systems team, helping build the tools that power how designers, developers, and product teams organize, manage, and deliver content across the Figma platform.

What you'll do
You'll own product design from early discovery through launch, balancing user needs with technical constraints while helping shape the future of collaborative software.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing end-to-end experiences for Figma's content management capabilities.
- Turning technically complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Building interactive prototypes to validate ideas and communicate design decisions.
- Working closely with engineers to explore technical possibilities and implementation.
- Contributing to long-term product strategy through research, customer insights, and experimentation.
- Collaborating across Product, Engineering, Research, and Design throughout development.
- Participating in design critiques and helping raise design quality across the organization.
What they're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of Product Design, UX, or UI experience on complex software products.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual, interaction, and systems design.
- Strong experience simplifying technically complex products.
- Confidence building prototypes as part of the design process.
- Experience driving projects independently from discovery through launch.
- Strong product thinking backed by research and customer insights.
- Excellent collaboration skills with engineers, product managers, and researchers.
- Curiosity about how software is built and a passion for solving technical design challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience building prototypes through code or AI-assisted development.
- Background designing CMS platforms, developer tools, APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure products.
- Experience contributing to open-source software or developer-focused products.
