The Role

BlackCloak is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help create user-friendly, secure mobile and web applications. You will contribute to the design of three main products: a mobile app, a client portal, and an internal admin tool.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to design intuitive interfaces that simplify complex topics—while always putting the user first.

Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Work across mobile and web platforms to ensure consistent user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and user needs
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into simple, trustworthy UI
  • Contribute to the creation and growth of a scalable, tokenized design system
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, especially with high-stakes users
  • Present and defend design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Help define internal design processes and documentation standards
  • Stay updated on accessibility, UX, and cybersecurity design trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise tools
  • Proficiency with Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Experience designing for security and privacy-focused products
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly across teams
  • Detail-oriented with creative problem-solving skills
