The Role
As a Product Designer at Thatch, you’ll play a key role in defining how people interact with healthcare. You’ll design intuitive, visually polished experiences for businesses, teams, and brokers — contributing to everything from UI systems and new product flows to the overall design vision of the company.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership to turn complex healthcare challenges into clear, user-friendly solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Shape every stage of the product design process — from concept to launch.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company.
- Build and maintain Thatch’s design system and visual identity.
- Document design guidelines and contribute to internal best practices.
- Continuously refine design tools, standards, and processes.
What They’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in product design.
- Strong user empathy and a focus on improving real-world experiences.
- Solid foundation in UX/UI design principles and systems thinking.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Balance between creative exploration and practical execution.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
- Previous work at high-growth startups.
- Interest in healthcare, insurance, or financial tech.
