We’re seeking a systems-minded Product Designer to help shape the future of design system features in Figma. You’ll focus on the details of how components, variables, and other design system tools work in the editor, while also considering how Figma’s ecosystem interacts holistically. This role is full-time and can be based in one of Figma’s U.S. hubs or remotely anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to strategy and decision-making around design system product direction
  • Define, prototype, and iterate on flows, interactions, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and research teams
  • Ship high-quality product improvements within Figma’s Design Editor
  • Help shape the future of design system features across Figma

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience designing UX and UI for complex systems
  • Strong eye for detail and craft, creating polished visuals, interactions, and scalable systems
  • Experience driving design independently from exploration to launch
  • Track record designing system-oriented experiences (e.g., admin tools, onboarding flows, billing)
  • Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and collaborate effectively across disciplines

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and framing open-ended problems into actionable goals
  • Creative problem-solving mindset

Why Figma:

  • Remote-friendly work in the U.S. with flexible options
  • Competitive salary ($164,000–$294,000 for SF/NY hubs; remote roles are adjusted by location)
  • Equity in a high-growth company
  • Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, retirement contributions, parental leave, wellness support, PTO, and learning stipends

How to Apply:
Share your portfolio and CV, highlighting system-oriented UX/UI work and examples of design system thinking.
