About the role
They’re looking for a Product Designer to craft clear, intuitive user experiences for high-pressure moments — like when an engineer is handling an incident at 2am. Your work will help reduce friction and increase clarity when it matters most.
Responsibilities
- Design clear workflows for complex technical incidents
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams
- Lead and apply user research
- Create scalable, technically-informed solutions
- Become a go-to expert in incident response UX within the team
Requirements
- Experience designing for technical users (e.g., developers, SREs)
- Portfolio showing high-impact work on complex B2B or SaaS products
- Comfortable working async in a fully remote team
- Strong decision-making based on data, feedback, and technical context
Bonus points for
- Experience with incident response, observability, or security tools
- Designing mobile interfaces or chat-ops-like experiences
- Familiarity with infrastructure, monitoring tools, databases, etc.
- Experience working in pressure-heavy environments (e.g., volunteering, emergency response)
