This job is curated by UX Remote Talent from external sources. We are not affiliated with the employer.

Figma builds collaborative product-development tools that help teams move from early ideas to design, prototyping and implementation.

Its platform supports individuals and organizations throughout the product creation process, combining collaborative design workflows with prototyping, development capabilities and increasingly AI-powered tools.

About the Role

Figma is looking for Product Designers to join its Growth & Monetization teams, working across experiences that influence how customers discover value, adopt Figma products and expand their usage over time.

The work spans important parts of the Figma ecosystem including onboarding, account management, administration, billing and monetization.

You'll tackle problems where great user experience and business growth need to work together — simplifying complex workflows while helping individuals and organizations get more value from Figma.

Figma is considering candidates across multiple seniority levels for openings within its Growth and Monetization organization.

Learn to design with data, not assumptions

Growth and monetization roles increasingly require designers to understand experimentation, product metrics and behavioral data. Designlab's Data-Driven Design course focuses on using data to make stronger product-design decisions.

What You'll Do

Design Growth & Monetization Experiences

You'll work across product experiences that directly influence adoption, retention and expansion within the Figma ecosystem.

Potential areas include:

  • Onboarding
  • Account management
  • Billing
  • Administration
  • Product tiers
  • Organization-level experiences
  • Customer expansion

You'll help identify opportunities to improve these experiences while balancing customer needs with Figma's broader business objectives.

Own the Design Process

You'll independently drive design work from early discovery through launch.

Responsibilities include:

  • Exploring product problems and opportunities.
  • Developing user flows.
  • Creating prototypes.
  • Producing polished, high-fidelity designs.
  • Iterating on interaction details.
  • Helping teams evaluate potential solutions.
  • Shipping high-quality product improvements.

You'll need to consider user needs, business objectives and technical constraints throughout the process.

Use Data to Inform Design

Experimentation and measurement are particularly relevant to this team.

Figma values designers who are comfortable working with:

  • Product metrics
  • Experimentation
  • Behavioral signals
  • Data-informed decision making

Rather than relying exclusively on intuition, you'll use quantitative and qualitative evidence to help understand whether product changes are producing the intended results.

Design for Different Types of Users

Figma serves users with very different needs and responsibilities.

You may design experiences for:

  • Individual users
  • Teams
  • Administrators
  • Buyers
  • Organizations
  • Customers across different product tiers

You'll need to understand how those different perspectives interact within the same product ecosystem and create experiences that scale across them.

Product Strategy & Storytelling

This isn't purely an execution-focused design position.

You'll also contribute to broader product strategy and help teams clearly communicate:

  • User problems.
  • Product opportunities.
  • Design rationale.
  • Strategic decisions.
  • Potential directions.

Structured thinking and clear storytelling will be important when working across Product, Engineering, Research and Design.

What They're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience.
  • Experience designing software products with significant scale or complexity.
  • Strong visual-design craft.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong typography, composition and layout skills.
  • Fluency in interaction design.
  • Strong prototyping capabilities.
  • Experience independently leading design projects from discovery through launch.
  • Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints and business objectives.
  • Experience using research to support design decisions.
  • Structured product thinking.
  • Experience designing for multiple user types or product tiers.
  • Familiarity with experimentation, metrics or data-informed design.

Nice to Have

Particularly relevant experience includes:

  • Growth Design.
  • Monetization.
  • Enterprise products.
  • Complex product ecosystems.
  • Experimentation.
  • Product analytics.
  • Identifying new opportunities across existing products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You'll work closely with:

  • Product Management
  • Engineering
  • Product Design
  • Research

You'll also contribute to Figma's broader design culture through design critiques, mentoring and sharing best practices with other designers.

Location

This is a full-time position that can be based at one of Figma's US hubs or remotely within the United States.

In-person onboarding is required for new hires.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $169,000–$303,000 USD

The final offer depends on factors including seniority, relevant experience, skills, role scope, expected impact and location.

Eligible employees may also receive equity and an annual bonus.

Benefits

Figma's benefits package may include:

  • Health, dental and vision coverage.
  • Employee equity.
  • Retirement benefits with company contributions.
  • Parental and family-planning support.
  • Mental health and wellness benefits.
  • Paid time off.
  • Flexible PTO for eligible employees.
