IGS integrates product designers into every stage of software development, from initial requirements to product releases. As a Product Design Intern, you’ll work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, analysts, and product managers to create seamless, user-centered experiences. This internship provides hands-on exposure to UX/UI design, prototyping, and enterprise design systems while contributing to real software products.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and business analysts to define user-focused solutions.
- Design interfaces, experience flows, and prototypes using Figma, iterating based on feedback from teammates and end users.
- Work alongside engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
- Contribute to the enterprise design system, helping maintain cohesive and high-quality product design.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospectives.
- Create visuals to communicate complex concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, design certification, or equivalent experience in UX/UI design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work for web or mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Empathy for users and the ability to work effectively in a creative, team-driven environment.
- Self-organized, structured, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude and motivation to deliver high-quality work.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S. full-time (no sponsorship available).
