Shape how Sanity shows up in the world
Sanity is looking for a Senior Designer, Marketing to help evolve its brand across campaigns, web experiences, events, social media, advertising, and physical touchpoints.
This is a broad senior design role for someone who enjoys moving between disciplines. One project might involve creating the visual system for a major product launch, while the next could mean designing a conference experience, a high-converting landing page, or a new social campaign.
You'll work closely with Sanity's Senior Creative Director of Marketing to translate product positioning and company stories into distinctive creative work that stands out in the B2B technology space.
What you'll be doing
You'll help define and execute Sanity's visual presence across multiple channels, including:
- Creating visual systems for integrated marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Designing social content, digital advertising, sales collateral, presentations, print materials, and out-of-home campaigns.
- Creating responsive landing pages and interactive web experiences.
- Helping establish a cohesive web UI/UX language across Sanity's digital properties.
- Designing navigation, interaction patterns, and visual components with usability, accessibility, and conversion in mind.
- Owning event design across booths, signage, banners, presentations, badges, and merchandise.
- Developing reusable social templates alongside one-off creative pieces for major launches.
- Building shared asset libraries, templates, and guidelines that help the wider team move faster.
- Working alongside other marketing designers to continuously evolve the Sanity brand.
- Reviewing how creative performs and applying those insights to future work.
- Occasionally traveling to support major events.
More than traditional marketing design
A significant part of this position sits at the intersection of brand design and digital product thinking.
Sanity wants someone who doesn't simply design individual web pages, but thinks about the entire digital experience — how users navigate, how components scale, how visual systems remain coherent, and how design can improve engagement and conversion.
You'll help create a web design language capable of scaling alongside Sanity's growing digital ecosystem.
What they're looking for
You should bring 8+ years of experience in marketing design, brand design, or a related discipline, either in-house or within an agency.
Strong candidates will have:
- A portfolio demonstrating range across campaigns, digital, social, events, and ideally print.
- Excellent typography, layout, composition, and color skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong web UI/UX fundamentals.
- Experience designing responsive digital experiences.
- Understanding of component-based design systems.
- Strong systems thinking and an ability to create reusable patterns rather than isolated assets.
- Experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- The ability to present concepts and clearly explain the thinking behind creative decisions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Curiosity about how AI tools can improve creative workflows without compromising design quality.
Motion design knowledge is an advantage.
What could make you stand out
Sanity is particularly interested in designers who have helped create cohesive brand experiences rather than simply producing individual marketing assets.
Relevant experience includes:
- Building integrated brand campaigns with a strong narrative.
- Translating complex technology or product concepts into accessible visual stories.
- Designing and producing large-scale event experiences.
- Working on CMS-powered websites.
- Building or evolving brands within startups or scaleups.
- Creating scalable web design systems.
- Combining strong visual craft with conversion-focused UX thinking.
Experience working with Sanity's own CMS is an additional advantage.
Working with AI
Sanity is building an AI-powered Content Operating System, and the company is looking for a designer who is curious and thoughtful about using AI within the creative process.
Rather than adopting AI simply because it's new, you'll be expected to develop a point of view about where these tools genuinely improve exploration, production, and creative workflows — and where traditional design judgment remains more valuable.
