About the Role

Elastic is looking for a Product Designer to join its Observability UX team and help create intuitive experiences for complex, data-driven products.

Working alongside Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and other designers, you'll tackle challenging enterprise workflows, transform user research into meaningful product improvements, and help shape the future of AI-powered observability tools.

A portfolio or case study is required as part of the application.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer challenges and design effective product solutions.
• Conduct user research through interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.
• Translate research findings into actionable product improvements.
• Design intuitive user interfaces and seamless interaction flows for enterprise software.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools.
• Continuously refine product experiences based on customer feedback, usability insights, and business objectives.
• Advocate for user-centered design throughout the product development process.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience solving complex UX challenges.
• Experience designing scalable interfaces and working with design systems.
• Proficiency with Figma, FigJam, or similar design tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to explain design decisions clearly and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Comfortable working in a distributed, remote-first environment.
• Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving design craft.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing data-intensive or analytics products.
• Contributions to large-scale design systems.
• Experience with AI-powered or automation-focused products.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity or observability platforms.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Experience working on technically complex enterprise software.
