About Archy

Archy is building modern software for dental practices, replacing legacy practice-management tools with an integrated SaaS platform powered by automation and AI.

The company has reached Series B and is developing technology that helps dentists and their teams manage the operational side of their practices more efficiently, allowing providers to spend more time focused on patient care.

Archy is now looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help shape the next stage of its platform.

About the Role

This is a senior, hands-on position with significant ownership over the UX and UI of Archy's dental platform.

You'll tackle complex workflows involving different users, processes, and datasets, with the goal of turning them into an experience that feels simple, coherent, and intuitive.

As the product expands, you'll also help establish the systems and design practices needed to maintain that quality at scale.

The role combines product strategy, user research, UX architecture, visual design, design systems, AI-assisted workflows, and close collaboration with engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Own UX and UI across key areas of Archy's all-in-one dental platform.
  • Simplify complicated workflows and information structures into clear product experiences.
  • Create scalable design frameworks that allow new functionality to be introduced without making the platform unnecessarily complex.
  • Take projects from early problem definition and research through interaction design, polished UI, prototyping, and implementation.
  • Work directly with dental professionals to understand their workflows, pain points, and product needs.
  • Translate customer feedback and ambiguous problems into actionable product solutions.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering throughout the development process.
  • Maintain a strong balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
  • Identify UX friction proactively rather than waiting for problems or projects to be assigned.
  • Own and evolve reusable components and the broader design system.
  • Apply accessibility principles throughout the product experience.
  • Review implementation and help ensure the final product reflects the intended design quality.

AI in the Design Process

AI is expected to be a practical part of the designer's workflow at Archy.

You'll use AI and data tools where they can accelerate activities such as prototyping, research analysis, wireframing, content exploration, and product analysis.

You'll also explore emerging AI-enabled design tools and help the wider team understand where they can meaningfully improve the product development process.

What They're Looking For

Archy is looking for a highly experienced product designer with 8+ years of professional experience, ideally including work in fast-moving startup environments.

You should bring:

  • A strong portfolio featuring products that have shipped to real users.
  • Experience across both UX strategy and high-quality visual execution.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to simplify complex SaaS workflows.
  • Experience designing for B2B and B2C products.
  • Proven ownership of scalable design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including components, prototyping, and developer handoff.
  • Strong experience incorporating AI and data tools into product design workflows.
  • Experience conducting and synthesizing customer research.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and the practical constraints engineers encounter when implementing designs.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG principles.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex design decisions clearly.
  • The ability to operate independently and make decisions in an environment with significant ambiguity.

Experience with HealthTech, FinTech, complex SaaS products, or similarly workflow-heavy platforms would be particularly relevant.

Who This Role Could Suit

This opportunity is particularly well suited to a senior designer who enjoys having substantial influence over a product rather than working within a narrowly defined feature area.

Archy is looking for someone comfortable moving between research, product thinking, complex UX, polished UI, systems design, and implementation — while taking ownership of problems from discovery through launch.

Compensation & Benefits

The advertised salary range is $150,000–$175,000, with equity also included in the compensation offering. Some positions may additionally qualify for performance-based incentives.

Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible vacation
  • Remote-friendly working environment
  • Equity participation
