This job is curated by UX Remote Talent from external sources. We are not affiliated with the employer.

Codelitt is a global product development company that partners with businesses to design and build digital products from early concepts through launch.

The company operates with a small, distributed team and works across a variety of technology and product challenges for its clients.

About the Role

Codelitt is looking for a Senior Product Designer with particularly strong expertise in design systems and scalable UI.

You'll take ownership of design initiatives with a high degree of autonomy, working with existing digital products to identify inconsistencies, improve their visual quality, and transform research findings into reusable components and patterns.

A major focus of the position is bridging the gap between UX research, UI design and engineering implementation.

What You'll Do

  • Own Product Design initiatives from beginning to delivery.
  • Audit existing products to identify components, patterns, styles, and inconsistencies.
  • Establish and evolve scalable visual systems.
  • Translate UX research findings into practical UI solutions.
  • Create design tokens, reusable components, and interaction patterns.
  • Build responsive, variant-based component libraries.
  • Modernize existing interfaces while preserving established information architecture and core UX flows.
  • Improve visual consistency, usability, and perceived product quality.
  • Connect research insights and UX requirements with final UI execution.
  • Produce high-fidelity interfaces, user flows, and interaction specifications.
  • Document design decisions and systems for engineering.
  • Collaborate with developers to support accurate implementation.

What They're Looking For

Candidates should ideally have 6+ years of professional Product Design experience, particularly across web products, applications, and design systems.

Key qualifications include:

  • Significant experience designing digital products.
  • Deep expertise in design systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma.
  • Experience with web applications and native apps.
  • Strong understanding of Product Design and web-design processes.
  • Experience building scalable component libraries.
  • Strong visual-design skills across typography, color, layout, and hierarchy.
  • Ability to translate UX research into UI decisions.
  • Experience preparing designs and documentation for engineering implementation.
  • A portfolio demonstrating completed Product Design projects.
  • Experience presenting work to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership of projects.

Design Systems Focus

Design systems are a central part of this position rather than simply a nice-to-have.

You'll be expected to understand an existing product, identify where its visual language has become fragmented, and create the tokens, components, variants, patterns, and documentation required to make the interface more consistent and scalable.

The goal isn't necessarily to redesign the underlying product architecture. Instead, you'll improve and systemize the UI while respecting established workflows, hierarchy, and information architecture.

Skills & Working Style

Codelitt is looking for someone who can work effectively in a small, fast-moving distributed team.

You'll need:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different projects and workflows.
  • Clear written and spoken English.
  • Strong collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to work independently while incorporating direction and feedback.
